I love all dogs but the tough ones teach you the most. Having walked all sorts of dogs from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs, I can say with any dog, there's nothing more rewarding than building a trusting relationship through a walk. Although when the dog requires more thought, skill, and patience that reward is that much better. As a dog walker and not a trainer my job is not to fix a dog but to have a working and trusting relationship even on a single walk. I've built that trust with everything from an anxiety ridden Wheaten Terrier to a leash aggressive Doberman. All dogs teach us something, walking dogs has allowed me to learn from so many. Hopefully I can use what I learn to also give back to each dog I walk.
