Pet care experience
Since I was 13 I have been taking care of neighbors pets of several kinds after school and as I got older it progressed into pet sitting through word of mouth and references. I am a young single responsible man with tons of great professional and personal references. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and a few other species like birds and fish and such of all ages and can handle special pet and home care requests. I do not charge additional rates even though Rover requires I put an amount. I do not mind staying holidays or caring for multiple animals at no additional cost. I am happy to serve anywhere within an hour or so drive of Anacortes.

Joey took care of our 2 cats and a chicken for 3 weeks. When we got home the house was clean and our pets didn't seem to have missed us! They were in great health and happy. Joey sent great photos and kept us up to date on their silly antics. He is very easy to communicate with and I had little concern before leaving. Upon our return we were greatly relieved. I also have many house plants that were thriving! You would be lucky to have Joey care for your animal family and home.
Joey is AMAZING! We have had Joey house sit for us several times over the last couple of years. His responsibilities have included duck, cat, and dog care as well as gardening care. Each time we return home, our animals are happy and my garden is thriving. I highly recommend Joey for home and pet sitting whether it is just for a few days our an extended vacation. It is such a blessing to know your home and aminals are well taken care of so you you can truly enjoy your time away.
I have 5 dogs and 1 cat and I've had Joey watch my fur kids multiple times. They are my life and I trust Joey to care for them. Most of them require medical care and he has had no problems attending to their high level of needs. You can tell he loves animals and offers good care.

I have never had a dog I couldn't handle after receiving owners instructions so there is nothing I could think to need to know ahead of time.
A typical day
I like to treat dogs to as close a typical day they would get with their owners as I can. So fetch and walks in the area are something I love to do. I have no problem with morning and/or evening play time and walks, before and after work.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday in Oak Harbor around 8 hour shifts starting at 7:45am and Saturdays about the same hours for another company out of Sedro-Woolley. I unfortunately cannot provide breaks in that time as my jobs are mobile and not in my own vehicle. I am best suited for pets that can be left alone during the day.
