Hey 👋🏼 I'm Joey and here's a little bit about me! I just joined Rover as a professional pet care specialist in August 2023. I'm a current pet parent to a very energetic 4 year old Goldendoodle, Parker. I've had dogs (and other pets) for my entire life and had the pleasure of being responsible for them since the very young age of 10 (now 32). I have 20+ years of personal experience and 6 years of professional experience working with all sorts of animals - especially dogs and cats. I started by career in emergency veterinary medicine in the beginning of 2018 at a specialty and emergency animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. Being that I come from a veterinary background - I am well versed in all different breeds of dogs, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels where I am able to cater to specific needs and/or requests you may have!

I have a decent size fenced in backyard and a very friendly (with dogs/people/animals) goldendoodle to keep your fur baby company. We will go over any special care instructions, routine(s), and/or requests you might have during their service.

(Kids Included) - Are they potty/house trained? - Do they have any food allergies or dietary restrictions? - Are they currently on any medication? If so, which one and when is it administered? - Do they currently have any medical/health issues I should know about? - Who's their current rDVM?

No matter which service you book with me, it's tailored to your pets individual wants/needs. Once the date(s) are finalized and your service is booked, you and I will go over any special care instructions or requests you may have for your pet during their service.

Availability
I'm fortunate that my current job position and company allows my schedule to be extremely flexible, especially during the week. I work from home full time for a veterinary emergency company. I'm a full time (online) student working on my Veterinary Technician Bachelor's degree to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). I'm a per-diem Veterinary Assistant in an emergency veterinary hospital (at my current company).
