Pet care experience
Since a young age, I’ve walked a variety of small to large dog breeds. I've looked after multiple dogs (& breeds) from puppies to rescues during the day including overnight and have my golden retriever Luna who I’ve trained from 9 weeks old myself so I’m confident with puppies. I have a lot of patience and use the gentle approach to any situation while making sure it’s in the best interest of the individual character.

I would recommend Joëlla to anyone who needed their dog looking after. Luna stayed with Joëlla for 2 nights and she absolutely loved her time there. Right from the start, we were completely put at ease by Joëlla's organisation and efficiency. We were constantly updated throughout Luna's time staying with Joëlla and at no point were we worried about Luna. It was great to see that our dog bonded so well with Joëlla and her dog. I don't think Luna wanted to come home! Joëlla let Luna off lead on walks which was great. It was lovely to see someone with the confidence to let Luna off the lead as we haven't had that with other sitters. As well as on walks, Joëlla was great with Luna at home and gave her so much love and attention. I would definitely take Luna back to Joëlla. She was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much!
Jöella was great, very responsive and communicative, she made me feel like Nala was with a safe pair of hands. Nala had a lovely time staying with her and playing with her dog Luna. I would definitely leave Nala with her again.
Joella provided exceptional care for my dog Molly. Her understanding of Molly being a rescue, frequent updates with pictures, and overall accommodation exceeded my expectations. I couldn't recommend her enough for the excellent attention and care she devoted to Molly's well-being.

I have a spacious maisonette with a small, fenced private garden where your fur baby can run and play with my friendly and gentle golden retriever while there’s enough space for them to create a safe place of their own to take nap/rest. Please note: your dog must be able to walk the stairs if over 25kg. I’m located near a large dog friendly park and can walk within 10-15 minutes (depending on the amount of sniffing!) to a large open field or have a long relaxing walk along the canal.

A typical day
Your dog will be taken on a walk 2-3 times per day with at least one long country walk where he/she get both physical and mental stimulation. There are plenty of toys, natural chews and enrichment toys available to play with but I also recommend to bring a few of their own toys.

Availability
I work from home on weekdays which means I can be flexible with timings. I’m only out 2-3 evenings for 1.5 hour to do exercise. Every other Friday, we can go for a long walk exploring the grounds of Ashridge (if your doggy is comfortable in a car).
