Pet care experience
I love dogs! Working with and caring for dogs is a passion of mine. For the past twenty years I have had a Golden Retriever, Bull mastiff, Husky Shepard mix, Mastiff/Boxer mix and presently a German Shepard. I am a very active individual who loves taking my dog on walks daily and am always up for a hiking or swimming adventure with my fur baby. With the passion I have for animals, i have decided to serve others by opening up my home to look after other dogs while their owners are away. They will see that their four legged friend will be treated and cared for as if they are part of my family.

I can't even begin to say how great of a stay our Brisket had at Joelene's for 7 nights. We feel so lucky we have found Joelene and her family. (And Emmy of course is the biggest canine sweetheart) :) THANK YOU and if you ever consider moving away we will have to follow.
Joelene was awesome! Provided continuous updates throughout and was very accommodating when I had to adjust my schedule. This was a perfect fit for my velcro dog that requires constant connectivity with humans. I know Bozsi was well taken care of, to the point I wasn't sure she would want to leave when I picked her up ;) Will definitely use Joelene again!
This is the 2nd time we have left our dog with Joelene and I can't say enough how comforting it is to be able to go away and know your puppy is in great hands. He was so excited when we dropped him off as if it was his second home already. Feel very blessed to have found this wonderful caregiver!

My home has one energetic and loveable German Shepard. We have a fully fenced yard as well. Your dog when staying with us will have the opportunity to play, relax and enjoy multiple walks daily. We treat all animals that stay as if they are family. They have the luxury of sitting on the couch giving and receiving cuddles, as well as on our bed. If your preference is to have your dog crate trained, we can accommodate that also.

With having a working breed dog, i am aware of how important physical and mental stimulation are. We play games such as “come find me”, treats in the treasure chest, obedience games to reinforce listening and recall, as well as multiple walks daily.

My occupation as an educator has allowed me the opportunity to create and build my own tutoring business. I am self employed and work from home. This allows me the flexibility to assist in dog walking, boarding and check in on your dog and give them potty breaks.
