Hi! I'm Monty! I'm a 3 year old rescue pup who lived with Joel for my whole life (technically 21 years if you want to get specific). I'm a pretty nervous girl who needs some time warming up to people. Joel was always incredibly patient and gave me space when I asked for it. He also gave me attention and great behind-the-ear scratches when asked for. Do you like spending time outside? Belly rubs? Parent-approved treats? Joel's your guy. When my parents went away for a long weekend or were stuck late in the office, Joel was always there to lend a helping hand. Gotta love those opposable thumbs and their ability to open doors. I understand he learned everything he knows from growing up on a farm with pups Ruby and Remy and a host of farm animals! Additionally, my mom always seems surprised when Joel is kind to my siblings, Sully (orange cat) and Cardamom (gray cat). My mom calls Sully a red devil and honestly I get it. But Joel is certain that he is a misunderstood angel who just needs more love and attention. Oh well. I suppose he's just an animal lover at heart.
