Pet care experience
Our family had 2 cats, 2 medium large sized dogs for 16+ years, they've all passed and have time and schedule now. Single Dad with 2 kids part time, I would be the main Rover caretaker. My family is used to having pets and are accommodating to the pet routines. I live in a community that has pet friendly areas for outside time, parks, trails and great places for dog fun. I enjoy being outside and would bring our dogs with us on local walks, hikes, and beach time. Have taken our pets camping as well. I work from home, occasional appts, never gone more than a couple hours, and communicate at a high level: text updates and pics! I'd love to take care of your pet family member like one of ours: pick or drop off, while you're away.

Joel was able to help me out last minute over a holiday. I boarded my 11 yo male neutered pit/boxer mix with him for two nights. He even took my boy Scooby to the beach to play and romp and then on a little hike too. Joel sent me tons of photos of Scooby meeting new friends while they were on their adventures together. I’d recommend Joel to anyone looking for dog boarding.
We are friends with Joel and his family, have 2 small dogs and Joel has dog sat some weekends we're out of town. Our dogs got along with his dogs, and cat; I recall one has just passed away due to age. Anyways, our pets were happy to be home with no major behavior issues being with another family/household. It helped us feel good about being away and our pets being ok with another family with pets.
Hello, I've hiked with Joels family and dogs, we hiked a few trails in Rancho Penasquitos and had a good time. His dogs were trained, listened and happy to be outside exploring. Their dogs were definitely part of their family and it was obvious.
He is just great! Friendly, caring and great with our dog. It’s nice to have someone we can trust. Will definitely use him Joel again!
