Pet care experience
I love Colorado and I love seeing animals enjoying this incredible landscape. I own and run a summer camp and when I’m not hiking with kiddos - I prefer to have a dog nearby. My Bruce is sadly getting old and rickety and I can’t take him on our long hikes anymore. I’d love to take you pooch on the hundreds of miles of wilderness trails nearby, grab some great photos for you and watch them shine.

Please let me know as much as you’re willing to share. What behavior should I expect on our walks? How do they respond to unfamiliar dogs, people, children. What form of praise and rewards are most effective? Are there any activities I should avoid? Thank you!
A typical day
Wake up with some coffee for me and play for the pups in our giant 1 acre fenced yard. After that we take our first hike to the nearby dog park, creek, lake or mountain trail. Then some food, water, pets and rest. Later we’ll have some more play in the yard and an evening walk.

Availability
I’m free during the day, evening and some weekends. Rain or shine. I will make sure to each walk meets both you and your animal’s needs. I’m happy to hike up to 10 miles or around the block. I also have a bike if your pup enjoys a faster pace.
