Pet care experience
After exploring several career paths I’ve found the greatest satisfaction in pet sitting. I’ve owned cats and dogs for the majority of my life. Both my own as well as fosters and babysitting where I’m experienced in providing food, walks, cleaning, grooming (my cat has a has a triple coat), and scratches of course! I accept all animals for most services (walks, visits, house sitting). Unfortunately I can only board one cat at a time at the moment. I live in a quiet apartment with multiple closed doors to the outside with my cat, Scruffy, that I recused off the street. She’s a small, peaceful low energy cat that listens to birds on the tv all day. Joel is an amazing cat sitter. My cat was boarding in his place for over a month, and he’s really responsible and careful. He’s great at communication and also trying his best to accommodate some changes in my boarding plan. Definitely would recommend him to everyone who needs a cat/dog sitter!!
Excellent communication and care. We, and our dog liked Joel right when he walked in. He stayed at our house and sent pictures every day. Our dog seemed comfortable and happy while we were gone. Joel took her on walks even though he could have just let her out in our yard. We have used Rover before but this was the most comfortable we’ve been with a sitter.

I wake up easiest and with the most motivated knowing I get to interact with animals for the day. I have lots of free time to play and provide mental stimulation. Whether that be in the form of walks, trained commands, chasing a ball of string… whatever is your pet’s preference :)
