Having dogs of my own, I know for many of you, like myself, your dogs are very important and finding a sitter that your comfortable with can be challenging. It can also be stressful for your pets as well to be away from home. That is why I strive to provide every guest dog with the same comforts of home and provide a loving and enriching environment for them. I now work from home so I will be with your dog(s) most of the time. I have a spare room where your pet will stay while they stay with me. Think of it like a pet hotel. Plenty of room for relaxing with big windows to look out along with a large bed and some chairs if they are allowed on furniture. If they are used to sleeping in a crate, that can be accommodated too as there is plenty of room. They'll also have a large house and fenced backyard to play during the day. I find having the spare room for them is helpful since a new place can be stressful and it can be their sanctuary if they wish or they can join the pack, it is really up to them. I find most guest dogs like to stay in the room for the first day or two and then eventually want to come out and be part of the group. I have a baby gate that I use so that I can keep the room open for them but it is still their space and my resident dogs cannot go in there which works out nicely. This is especially true for dogs that have come from shelters and may find kennels to be too stressful. I require that all guest dogs be up to date on vaccinations and meet and greets are required for all new clients. I want to make sure you feel comfortable with where they will be staying and most importantly, I want to make sure they are going to feel comfortable. If you have a pet that needs medicine or special treatment, I can accommodate that as well as I have had fair share of dealing with various medications and taking care of dogs that require a little special attention. I can assure you that your baby will get much love and attention (and might get spoiled just a bit). I do offer multiple dog/military discounts as well (except during holidays).
