Pet care experience
I'm the son of 2 veterinarians with over a decade of experience caring for animals. I grew up working in their hospital and have worked in other hospitals, shelters, mobile vaccine clinics, and kennels. I have a good 'body language' with dogs. I’m a young professional living alone with a consistent daily routine. I live in a safe and accessible one story home. I have a large and fully fenced in backyard and enjoy walking leashed dogs around my quiet neighborhood. I do not have any pets but have many years of veterinary experience and was raised with many pets. I am respectful of diets and routines and look forward to hosting your dogs. I am typically out of the house 9am-5pm working in an office, but can be flexible to allow for pickup/drop-off times. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you!

Joe was fantastic with my pup, Milo from start to finish! I'd like to say it was that Milo is so charming that Joe couldn't resist him, but it's clear that Joe just has so much experience and calm, "dog whisperer" energy that he could manage ANY dog as beautifully as he did Milo. If you need to leave your pup behind and don't want to spend one second worrying how things are going, reach out to Joe. He is professional and flexible, with a great deal of dog sensitivity ...in a word - amazing!!
Joe was amazing and took great care of Ruth and George. They’re full of energy and he handled them with ease. His house and especially the backyard are the perfect setting for a home away from home. The next time I’m in Charlotte I’ll be sure to ask Joe!

I understand that pets exhaust energy in a variety of ways. Physical exertion in walking, mental exertion in play, even sniffing in new areas on walks helps tire out your pup!
