For over 25 years, my priority has been providing quality dog care. My experience and understanding of animal behavior allow me to adjust to any pup quickly, so whether young and energetic or elderly, they will feel comfortable in their new home away from home. Regarding training, I use positive reinforcement and reward-based methods to encourage desired behaviors. This helps young and energetic pups learn quickly and builds a strong bond between us. My degree in Psychology doesn't hurt, either. For senior dogs, I take extra care in understanding their needs and providing the support they need. I focus on gentle exercises promoting relaxation and special care, and I love finding their favorite place to get rubs. Spending quality time with them is vital – playing fetch, giving them plenty of cuddles, or even giving them an occasional treat goes a long way toward making them feel safe and loved. Your furry friend will spend plenty of time running around and playing with other doggies during the day. You can be assured that not only will your furry friend be well taken care of, but they will also have lots of fun! My goal is to provide a safe and secure home away from home while you're away. I prioritize safety and keeping your trust in my services. I keep all areas clean and free of hazards and provide plenty of chew toys and treats to keep our fur-friends occupied. In addition, I always closely watch them when they are playing with other pets or exploring the yard to ensure everyone remains safe. To ensure your pet feels secure and comfortable in their new environment, we will gradually introduce them to our house rules and play areas. My fenced yard is large enough for a few large dogs to run off steam and offers a secure environment. I have a very friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. As a bonus, we have easy access to the backyard on our lower level, through the garage, so dogs that cannot handle stairs can still take a bathroom break as needed. The garage is comfortable and safe for crating or separating pets when they get too worked up. Rest assured that your pet will be protected and cared for in our home. For the comfort and safety of all dogs, I always ensure that no two are left unattended together. If I need to step out for a moment, each pup is separated and crated.

All dogs must wear a collar with an I.D. tag at all times while in my care. Knowing your dog's breed (or mixed breeds), size, and temperament is essential, so I can adequately prepare for them and their needs. Please keep your Rover profile updated. Knowing if they are aggressive towards other animals or people is also crucial to keeping everyone safe. Additionally, it is helpful to understand the dog's history with training and commands so I can reinforce good behavior when needed. Is your dog able to engage in physical activities without limitations? Are their vaccinations and shots up to date? Are there any current injuries, such as limping, cuts, tumors, or infections? Are there any previous injuries I should be cautious about while caring for your pup?
A typical day
A typical day playing with the dogs I watch usually involves many fun activities and games. Fetch is a favorite, as well as any ball or toy-based game. We regularly go on long walks to the off-leash area in the park near my house, where we can play freely and run around with other furry friends. To mix things up, I sometimes take the dog for a car ride to visit different parks and bask in the sunshine. Whatever activity we do together, it's sure to be an adventure!

Availability
With me home full-time and with my husband here part-time during the week for backup, every pup gets plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. We ensure they get outside to explore the garden and run around in the yard. We are also always on hand to check up on them and provide support when needed. I do not accept dogs that howl or cry; we all need a good night's rest. Dogs with high anxiety levels cannot be accommodated.
