I've been fortunate enough to share my days with several furry brothers and sisters since I was 8. I've worked with great breeds in roles from state corrections to farm work. I'm home full time nowadays so I've got plenty of time for your furry friend. I live close to several large parks with walking trails and have about half an acre of six foot privacy fenced back yard to play in. I also have a couple fur babies out there myself....a German Shepard mix (Apollo) and a Beagle mix (Loki). Apollo is 6 now and usually just barks at his "girlfriend" in the yard behind us and naps all day. Meanwhile, Loki is just a year old and can't seem to run long enough to get tired. They enjoy visitors and adapt quickly to change. I always monitor every interaction between them and any newcomer until everyone shows signs of being comfortable with each other.
