I have worked with dogs for about 10 years now. I got my start working with dogs through a work-study program in early college. From there, I was a manager at a dog daycare chain in Portland for about 4 years. Afterwards, I owned my own grooming salon for about a year before I moved to the Seattle area. I am currently a supervisor at a dog daycare in Ballard and volunteer at a local rescue to re-train and exercise dogs on my days off, so I see many personalities daily. When I'm not volunteering or working, I paint pet portraits to raise money for the rescue I volunteer for and 100% of would-be profits goes to help dogs. I love being able to swat at a dog's feet and get them playing with me-- I love to wrestle and tire them out. However, monitoring play and keeping an eye on body language to keep your fur-child safe is what is also important before things get out of hand.
