Dog and cat lover

Pet care experience

Hi everyone! My name is Joe and I am new-ish to the Winston-Salem area! I started dog sitting when I was 16 years old and have loved doing it ever since. I work a 9-5 job but I am completely remote so if you drop your dog off with me, they’ll be engaged! My partner and I have a 2 year old Golden Retriever named Cowboy and a Siamese cat named Birdie. Cowboy is very gentle and loves to have visitors and Birdie is a very tolerant girl that mostly sits and naps on her tower. I am pet CPR certified, have no allergies to animals, and would love to have visitors/go visit some animals during my work week and weekend! Rates are flexible as needed!

I dropped off Max for the weekend, and he had the best time! He loved playing with their golden Cowboy, and was so tired from all their playtime and activities when he came home. They also took care of his ear medication. I’ll definitely be bringing Max back soon, thanks for giving him a great fun-filled weekend!

Joe is a great pet sitter! He has taken care of my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup several times. I am super picky when it comes to sitters, but Joe is the BEST! He is attentive, pays attention to Rosie’s schedule, takes her out as needed and makes sure to give her some loving and play with her while I am away. We appreciate Joe so much & would recommend him to anyone looking for help with their pet. ❤️

I can't say enough positive things about Joe. We took an extended weekend to Key West and he watched our 2 Goldens. I felt comfortable with him from the start because he was very responsive to my questions and concerns and he quickly made me feel at ease. I could tell he would treat them like his own by the way he talked about his own animals. Joe kept me informed the entire time and even sent pictures of the girls walking and playing outside. I know they thoroughly enjoyed being with him because they were exhausted by the time we got home. A fun, safe time was had by all. Thanks Joe!

Information Joe M. would like to know about your pet

If your pet takes any sort of medication I am happy to administer it. The only requirement is that they are house trained (but accidents happen so no worries), and are friendly with other animals if they will be staying here!

A typical day

The biggest importance I feel for dogs is stimulation! We take our golden on multiple daily walks around our neighborhood which gets all his energy out and engages all his senses.
