I had a black lab growing up. He was abused before we adopted him so I learned a lot about being gentle and caring. We gave him a good life. As an adult, my wife and I have a Maltese-poodle mix who is 7 years old. He is a little needy but we love him a lot! We would do anything for him. He gets overwhelmed easily so I especially know how to treat sensitive dogs.
