Certified Dog Trainer

Pet care experience

Please read the below information in it’s entirety, I know you love your dog and you want to make sure he’s taken care of properly. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid not realizing that one day I’d make it a life goal to be certified as a Dog Trainer. I graduated from Animal Behavior College (Positive Reinforcement Based Training). Family, friends and neighbors have relied and continue to rely on me to care for their pets for when they travel and they always come back to a friend who’s happy to see them. I’m located about 10 min away from Chicago O’hare Airport. If you’re flying out, this is super convenient because I know the first thing you’re going to want to do when you get back from your trip is to see your best friend.

Joe was absolutely amazing. He sent lots of Videos and pics of our little pup. He took him on lots of walks and did a ton of activities. I will definitely be using Joe for future training and overnights.

It was Ari’s first overnight stay after we adopted him two month ago. And in addition he is a very leash reactive dog. So of course we worried. But we shouldn’t have. Joe is very good. He doesn’t just love dogs, he definitely knows their psychology and is a good trainer too. Joe also kept us at ease by sending lots of pictures and videos. Ari was very happy staying there, he got to play a lot with Joe and his dogs and also got his daily cuddles.

Our energetic pup had a great spring break with Joe! Very knowledgeable and caring, and sent pics and videos every day. We feel grateful to have found him!

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fenced yard and everything has been set up to be dog friendly. As a Dog Trainer, I understand that dogs don’t know between right or wrong, only between what is allowed and what is not (what results in a reward and what doesn’t). Love, Safety, Comfort and Trust are our biggest priorities so the number one rule in the house is: “Nobody Is Put In The Position Where They Think They Have To Defend Themselves”. Playtime here is always supervised and because of how many dogs we can house at once, there can’t be playtime in between dogs unless we’re 100% certain that they get along (I think it’s perfectly fine if your dog doesn’t like other dogs, or people). With that being said, each and every dog gets to not only enjoy free roaming and walks but also One-on-One interactive play sessions with me and my fiancé. You’ll be getting updates every single day including pictures that show how your friend is doing.

Information Joe G. would like to know about your pet

My dogs rest in their own crates and my cats free roam. As a Dog Trainer, I am a huge advocate for “Crate Training” specially for overnight care. Please let me know if your dog has any issues being in a crate, being around other dogs, small animals, people, or any other behavioral issues like resource guarding or separation anxiety. When requesting a booking please mention the following: Is your dog crate trained? Is your dog up-to-date on their vaccines? What does a typical day look like for them? What's their favorite game to play?

A typical day

The most fun we have is when it’s time to interact. There’s a park two blocks from the house that we go to. However, when we go outside, its never just to walk around purposeless and endlessly until it’s time to come back home. We go out to learn, enjoy each other’s company and have a good time.
