Pet care experience
I’ve always had dogs since I was a kid. I did a lot of the training with my family’s puppy when I was a teen and also trained my current dog, Parker, who we got as a rescue at 6 months. I have plenty of experience with walking, feeding, cuddling and giving pills if necessary. I’ve always been open to taking care of my friends’ and families’ dogs, and am happy to open our home to your pets as well!

We have a great deck overlooking the creek so there’s plenty to watch outside with the birds, ducks and squirrels, or they can just hang on the couch if they are a little more mellow. Parker is great at matching energy so it doesn’t matter if your dog is super playful or a couch potato, they’ll have a great new friend to hang with. We have dog beds in every room and they are more than welcome up on the couches. Parker also loves to share when it comes to toys

A typical day
We take a long walk in the morning and another in the late afternoon. We’ll take a few play breaks throughout the day and try to spend a good amount of time out on the deck enjoying the sunshine of the weather allows it! If your needs some good run time, we have a small dog run at our apartment. And if they like a lot of exercise, an afternoon hike up the mountain can replace our regular walk

Availability
My wife and I have our own wedding photography business, so we work from home the majority of the time. Our 9 year old dog Parker is still very active so we do two good walks per day and a couple more outings on top of those. If the weather’s nice and your dog has a lot of energy, we are happy to take them on a good hike to tire them out!
