What I love to do is work with animals in any facet. I take pride in making sure the client is as happy as possible, as well as their dog/other animals are safe and well taken care of. I am pet CPR and first aid certified so I take the health of the animal very seriously. Whenever I am pet sitting, I make sure that every dog is given any medications or supplements at the designated time, and make sure they always have ample time to potty, or just play. I never leave a water bowl even half full, nor do I go against the owners wishes on treats and snacks. If I am staying overnight, my preferred method is to make it look like I was never there. (wash and dry all used linens, take garbage out and replace bag, sweep and straighten up anything that might have fallen out of place.) I believe when an owner gets home, they should just be able to walk in and relax without worrying about anything. I constantly take pictures and videos of the animals and send constant updates, while also posting to a Facebook page for my clients. I am steady in a crisis (seizures, injuries..) and will treat what I can, and then immediately follow up with the clients preferred veterinarian along with the client to manage the situation accordingly. All in all I want to make the client feel as if I am someone they can count on to take care of their pet, and that they don't have to hesitate to call.
