Hi I am Jody I grew up surrounded by many animals dogs indoor and out cats indoor and out and also many horses I showed horses in horse shows since the age of 4 years old. Because of the way I was raised around animals, I feel like I have a instinct when it comes to animals and nurturing them. They instantly trust me and see me as a trusted soul. I put their needs first in acclimate to what the pet needs especially out of their everyday environment and routine. I try to make every pet feel like they are loved outside of being in their family home and their family and make sure that they are always reassured that they are safe and cared for.

I needed to board my 11 month puppy due to work travel and came across Jody on the Rover App. She is an amazing person who loves your pet like her own. Sadie felt right at home the moment l dropped her off. Jody shared videos/ photos and updates about my puppy while l was away for work. She is extremely responsive and just a delight to work with. How is your pet around other pets or people how do they react on walks what's their temperament most of the time. What would be an unusual behavior for them what would be a normal behavior for them. Those are some of the questions I would ask when preparing to pet sit for someone.
A typical day
I often take the pets that I care for specifically dogs on walks I provide plenty of toys and have accessible to them I create games that provides stimulus especially like on a rainy day if we can't make it outdoors. I will take them on a car ride if it's you know nice enough weather. Also just talking to dogs and cats really stimulates them and it creates an environment of security and nurturing and they seem to really enjoy when someone is just paying attention to them and talking to them it makes them feel very cared for and I think they get a sense of happiness.
