Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Jodie, I'm an actor and performer and I'm my spare time I would love to look after your fur baby 😊 I'm relatively new to this but I grew up with a family dog, a staffy called Milo, and was involved in his puppy training at the start and then taking him for walks and giving him lots of cuddles. I have included these years in my pet care experience. The years experience I have doing it as a job is 1 year, I've puppy sat for numerous friends. I have always loved animals and spend most of my time watching shows like The Dog House or looking at rehoming sites trying to persuade my husband to get a dog. Getting a dog of our own isn't quite right at the moment so being a sitter is a perfect way to make some furry friends.
Reviews
Our dog is nervous of strangers but warmed to Jodie straight away. We are not from the area but needed an overnight dog sitter while attending a wedding. Jodie sent photos and updates of our dogs stay and Willow seemed very content and comfortable and well looked after. We would definitely recommend Jodie and would use her again if we were in the area.
Friendly home from home for my dog!
Jodie was wonderful. I loved the Pup-dates. Blue came back happy and tired. Will definitely be back!
Paddy had a really happy time with Jodie!

Safety, trust & environment
I will always ask the owner what they want from me and how they want me to look after their fur baby. If there is a certain training going on I don't want to undermine any progress, I want to help and make sure I have the right tools to do so. My garden is on multiple levels and is mainly stone with no grass, it has a fence and is secure. Where I live I am close to lots of lovely green spaces for walks and near to the canal and quay in Exeter. I live on a hill so there are a few steps up to my house but I am happy taking them slowly or to suit any dogs needs. We have a cat flap but this remains locked as there are quite a few cats on my street and one particular ginger cat who comes looking for food and will happily make himself at home. With this said if your dog is reactive to cats I will be mindful of this.
