I've studied and have been trained to understand dog behaviors. From reading books, to working with pet kennels, to grooming dogs, I always needed to know when a dog was comfortable, nervous, frightened, feeling dominant or submissive. I am educated on certain health concerns as well. As a former groomer, I can help you keep an eye on your dog's skin, coat, ears, teeth and anal glands. I also have been trained to recongnize the beginning signs of bloat. I helped a dog graduate from the AKA Good Citizen Program. I learned how to get a dog comfortable with walking on a lead, not to pull, not to lag, and how to heel. When walking dogs, they need to feel like one of the pack.
