Pet care experience
I've been working with dogs for years, both in a volunteer setting and as a kennel worker for a vet. I've dealt with every kind of dog there is (large or small, young or old, etc.) and have experience in walking, feeding, and playing with them, and I even have experience with giving them medicine. I am always patient and willing to work with a dog so he/she has the best time possible. I'm always sure to follow feeding and walking instructionsas well, so that the dogs I watch can remain healthy and happy! I am willing to go the extra mile for anything you might need. I have no problem running with dogs, playing fetch, taking them to specific areas if requested, and doing any feeding or bathing that might be requested of me. I consider any day spent with dogs to be a fulfilled and enjoyable one!

My dog is a Siberian Husky, and therefore has a lot of energy. We are working with her to stop her bad habits, but she is still a puppy and a lot to manage. When Jodie cares for our pup, she is very patient and gentle with her. Lucy jumps up a lot and is very vocal, but Jodie doesn't get frustrated when Lucy is acting up; in fact, Jodie is very good about reinforcing Lucy's good behavior. Jodie is also very responsible and never cancels. Lucy adores Jodie and its obvious that the feeling is mutual. I would trust Jodie to take care of my pup for the day or a week!
Jodie is the perfect person to watch over your lil pooches while you're away, whether just at work or for a day trip. She was introduced to our (very difficult) rescue dog who HATES meeting new people, and showed no sign of hesitation or concern, which was key for our little Bayley, who I swear really does smell fear. Within the hour - which is UNPRECEDENTED for this dog - Bayley was sitting on her lap and licking her face. I cannot stress enough how much of a process it is to introduce our pup to a new person, and Jodie made it simple and worry-free, and showered both our dogs with smooches & love. She is well equipped to handle large dogs (ours are both 55+ pounds), and has an even temperament with them, giving you the confidence of an uneventful (in a good way!) walk with your little one. I highly recommend her services!
Jodie has to be one of the most dog-loving person I've ever met. She has a natural talent for working with dogs and has compiled that with multiple years experience at an animal hospital, resulting in a compassionate caregiver who consistently has put my dog's wants and needs above her own while maintaining control and not allowing troublesome pet behavior. Your dogs will love Jodie, just like mine did!
