Pet care experience
I've had pets all my life, from dogs, to cats, to birds, to an iguana, to a rat, and fish of all sorts, and I love them all! I've been married 34 years, have four grown kids, and a grandson and we had a Westie that passed last year who was nearly 16 and was a huge part of our family; I'm not ready to commit to another pet of my own but long to give the love I have for them to another's pet. We live near lots of beautiful walking trails and across the street from a massive open green space perfect for playful pups!

Jodi is such a warm and dependable person. She loves dogs and is an amazing caregiver to anyone or anything in her presence. She is dedicated to treating others as she wants to be treated and will think the same about caring for others' pets. She is someone you can trust with your furry friend, and you won't look for another petsitter after you've had Jodi take care of them.
I've known Jodi for 33 years and I can say with all confidence that she's going to do whatever she's signed up to do AND she's going to follow your instructions for your pet to the letter. Jodi (and her family) have owned dogs over the years and would bend over backwards in being responsible for them - sometimes to great inconvenience and expense. Didn't matter.... whatever it took to make them healthy, happy and included in family activities (Their last dog, Buddy, went on many a road trip with them!) I fully expect that once you have Jodi watch your pup, you're going to be a repeat customer! Go ahead - it's time for you to take that trip you've been thinking about! Jodi will have your pooch feeling like he/she went on vacation too!
Jodi has such a heart for our furry family members and she treats them as family with lots of belly rubs and personal attention! Your dogs would be blessed to have her watch over them!!

Please let me know what your pet enjoys! Are there any treats or toys you'd prefer and/or not prefer, ie; rawhide? Toys with squeakers? All natural ingredients, etc?
A typical day
We have beautiful trails all around us as well as a huge green space directly across the street! I love taking long walk, playing in the grass, and snuggling/petting!

Availability
After raising my own children, I became a nanny full time for 6 years; I had two TIA's (minor strokes) in January of 2021 and have been at home full time since. I am physically and mentally 100% but have decided not to pursue further full time work, yet I would like to keep busy and enjoy helping others. Caring for pets is similar to caring for a child but with a lot more flexibility, which is what I'm looking for.
