I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Jodi. She is extremely professional, thoughtful, and caring. She stayed at our house and watch our dogs and home. She kept our house running smoothly during her stay and our dogs seemed very happy and you could tell fell in love with her while we were away. She is an excellent experienced dog walker and worked with our young Golden’s bad walking habits..We loved getting the updates and pictures and videos from her during our trip and she was extremely responsive and communicative. We look forward to the next time she is available to sit for our doggies and home.
Jodi was great! I feel she went above and beyond to assure us that our dog Comet was in good hands. She communicated with us daily with pictures and was very respectful of our home. We will definitely use her again to take care of comet!
Jodi was awesome! It was her first time taking care of our two dogs that are not easy to care for. Our 100 pound hound dog has trigger issues with other dogs and our lab/herder is 60 pounds (and issues with kids) so the two of them can be a challenge. I could tell immediately she was up to the task and also loved she's super active with hikes to wear them down. Jodi was super conscientious with her communication and also relaying how she was managing our dogs to make sure no issues arise. You can tell is a dog lover and also just a very honest and kind person, highly recommend!
Jodi has always been great with my dog Dyson, who is a shy, 60lb coonhound mix. She's always a calm presence and great at reading animal body language. I would highly recommend her for pet care!

A typical day
Different dogs have different needs. I’ve cared for shy, anxious pups who need extra love and attention while their humans are away. I’ve sat for energetic dogs who need a lot of physical activity, and for older pups who prefer a slower pace. I typically let pets set the tone of the day (though of course, parent instructions come first).

I’m a freelance writer who works remotely. My flexible schedule allows me plenty of time for pet sitting and dog walking. I’m also an avid hiker who is always up for taking your pet on a leashed romp through the neighborhood or on nearby trails.
