I love animals! I am the person who greets every animal in my path, probably because I have always had some kind of pet in my life since I was very young. I am home full-time with our young toddler and just recently had to send our Chihuahua to live with my parents. I had been caring for her chronic dry eye since we first adopted her and am comfortable with administering oral/eye medication, as needed. My daughter loves animals, but is shy to be approaching them. She does very well with keeping her hands to herself or otherwise just softly petting while supervised. It is important that your dog be good with children and does not have the tendency to bark for small reasons (because naps!) 😊
