Pet care experience
Hi, Im a university student-athlete looking to make some extra money to pay for school. Ive personally owned a variety of pets and was raised by a marine biologist who always had exotic pets. Pets I have experience with/owned: Mini labradoodle Pomeranian chihuahua Crested gecko Fresh water live breeder fish: mollies, platties etc. 2 tabby cats 5 Gargoyle geckos Nosey bay chameleon

Jocelyn was great! She was super helpful when I needed her to help me out with my large dog. She showed up when she said she would and always took the dog for the full hour and sometimes a little longer…even in the pouring rain. My dog loved her too!
I’ve worked with Jocelyn for a little over a year now she has house sat for my while I was on a 2 week vacation and she took care of my 2 dogs (chocolate lab and french bulldog) as well as my russian blue cat. She took wonderful care of my house and pets and always made sure they were properly cared for. I still hire her to walk my dogs a couple days a week while me and my partner are busy at work. I recommend her to all my friends she’s awesome!

I have a small apartment with my roommate who also loves pets just as much as I do and i have lots of experience with both dogs and cats as well as other exotic pets.

I think it’s important to know how often your pet needs exercise and what their eating habits are like so I can be the most prepared I possibly can.
A typical day
I really love being in the outdoors with dogs. I enjoy taking them on walks and hikes and even for a swim if they’re up to it. I also enjoy teaching them new tricks.

Availability
I am currently a student-athlete going into my 4th year of university at SFU. My schedule doesn’t allow me to have a full or part-time job with a strict schedule because of how my fall season is with sports but i’m only taking 3 classes this year instead of 4 so that allows me to be flexible with taking care of pets on the side!
