Pet care experience
My family and I currently own 24 pets of varying species! There have been all sorts of different animals in my life since the day I was born. From dogs and cats to horses and cows, I have been exposed to caring for all sorts of animals. While caring for my own animals I have also been asked to care for friends' pets as well. A unique characteristic about me and my pet care experience is that I currently have a reactive dog who needs alone time, stimulation, and a lot of patience. I understand that pets are little fur balls that we treasure and want to protect at all costs, especially those of us who may have an animal with higher needs or reactivity. I am more than willing and able to ensure that pets are cared for and protected to the best of my ability, treating them as if they were my own!

Jocelyn is the best!
Jocelyn is amazing! We needed a dog sitter for a wedding and have older dogs so we are very nervous about who watches them but she set us at ease! She was amazing with our dogs and kept us updated. She is so sweet and down to earth, she came early to meet us to do a walk through of the house and meet the dogs. I highly recommend her if you want someone who will treat your fur babies like her own! We can’t thank her enough!

Jocelyn is a hard working young adult who is currently going to school to get her doctorate and working part time to help pay for school. She is extremely responsible and has an amazing passion for animals. Jocelyn will show your pet love and affection as if it was her own.

Living out in a rural community, there are times where my animals have a run in with a predator (i.e. coyote, mountain lion). Having these experiences in the past I know how to handle a medical emergency for pets and work swiftly and efficiently to make sure my pet is well taken care of. I have built amazing connections with local veterinarians and emergency vet hospitals.

Availability
Pet care fits into my schedule daily. Currently I am in school to earn my doctorate, interning part-time as a therapist, working part-time as a sales associate, all while being able to balance it all and integrating pet care! Some of the tasks I do on a daily basis are feeding, freshening water troughs, cleaning stalls and litter boxes, and sometimes administering medications. However, not everything is just this typical routine, there is fun involved too! I play with my pets daily and take my dogs for walks and hikes to get their ya-ya's out. It is something that both me and my pets enjoy and look forward to each day!
