Pet care experience
As a child we always had dogs. I trained our Aussies in agility and was low-key that nerdy dog-girl in high school. After college and grad-school, I was finally able to rescue a pitty mix of my own 4 years ago and my partner and I have been rehabilitating him since. ❤️ Got a soft spot for the underdogs! I can offer your pups undivided attention, mental and physical exercise, and companionship while you're away on a trip, at work, or just need a break. 🙃

Jocelyn has been amazing with every animal I have seen her come in contact with. She is extremely respectful, and makes sure to ask permission before approaching a dog and makes sure they have a chance to greet and meet her. She is extremely timely, and has always gone above and beyond watching our two dogs. If they act like they want to play, she takes them to play, if the other one wants to just snuggle she snuggles with him to make him feel secure. One of the best!
Jocelyn is a fantastic caregiver. Our two pups absolutely adore her and are completely overjoyed when she comes over. She’s so patient and kind to our little picky eater, who tends to be afraid of everything. She’s great with both of our babies and I cannot imagine a more trustworthy and responsible person to care for them.

Let me know if your dog has any special dietary, medical, behavioral, or other needs. I really appreciate a care sheet for reference wherever possible so I can be timely and accurate with the schedule and routine of your pets. Having a reactive dog of my own, I don't want reactive dog parents to feel trapped in their situation and like they can't trust anyone to watch their dog- I am always alert to surroundings and the body language of animals and will keep your pet safe!
A typical day
Dogs need both physical AND mental exercise daily. From tying a knot in a rolled up towel of kibble to sniff-centered walks, your dogs will have full and exciting days while their parents are away so everyone gets a vacation!

I am currently taking some time off after five years of teaching so I have pretty open availability. Could think of no better part-time gig than getting to spend my time around dog energy!
