Hi all! I grew up with dogs and sadly lost my 17 year old family dog a few years ago, but he taught me so much- including love and how to take care of an elder doggy. My fiancé and I have a 1.5 year old border jack named Moonpie, who is so fun and sweet! About me: I am a special education teacher and I am an EMT. My fiancé works from home, so Moonpie is never really alone. We love ALL dogs and the three of us get along with other dogs very well. We enjoy long (and short) walks and are lucky enough to have a mini dog park at our complex for some safe off-leash play.

Jocelyn is the best dog mom I know! She loves her puppy and treats her like her actual child. When I rescued my dog and found out I had to leave town a couple of months later I was super nervous to leave her with someone else because I didn’t know how she would do. Jocelyn watched her for the weekend and was the best! She sent pictures/videos and regular updates as requested. She took her on a hike and to get Pupuccinos with her and her dog and she loved it. Her dog is a sweet girl and my dog loves playing with her. Jocelyn is the only person here I trust to watch my baby!

I live in a very walkable neighborhood, so we can take long or short walks around. There is a mini fenced dog park behind my building and I live within a mile from the Clarendon dog park. I have a large crate for my dog, but we have a divider if we need to crate another smaller dog. My fiancé and I do not mind pets on the furniture. If I am in someone else’s home, I will be respectful of any space. I have a lot of experience babysitting human children as well, so I am comfortable in other people’s homes and clean up after your pets, children (not applicable in this app), and myself!

Availability
I am a teacher, so I am free by 5pm and have all nights and weekends off unless there is some kind of special event. My fiancé, my dog, Moonpie, and I often go to parks like the shirlington dog park or Glen Carlyn with our dog Moonpie in the afternoons after work or and on the weekends.
