Pet care experience
I’ve taken responsibility for my pets since I was 13 years old, and have always had a love for animals. I previously owned my amazing dog, Gigi, for 9 years, and currently have 2 pet bunnies and a turtle! I believe strongly in positive reinforcement training, and am excited to pursue my passion of caring for animals, as well as working with your pets so they won’t be bored and avoid negative behaviors!

I have a fenced yard, with a lot of land to run around in (an acre and a quarter) and I do have a pool. The pool does not have a fence, so any time in my yard would absolutely be supervised. I could crate your dog as needed, or if you prefer they are free roaming, and not in a crate, that could be accommodated as well. I will be very respectful and trust worthy of your home, and will always clarify any instructions so we are always on the same page.

Open communication is very important to me! I am willing to work with any breed, and I believe it is important to know what characteristics the dog has so that we can focus on activities that stimulate their interests specifically!
A typical day
On our walks, I will be patient enough to stop with a dog whole loves to sniff every leaf, or active enough with a dog who would love to jog or run the whole time! I am excited for the exercise! Depending on the dogs interests, we could play fetch, or search and find games to stimulate their minds. I am extremely open to trying anything or playing any traditional games the owner would like me to play. I also spend time researching different stimulating activities to try. Everything would be discussed with owners beforehand to ensure they are willing as well. Open communication is key.

Availability
I work a full time job as a Recreational Therapist for individuals with Special Needs, so I am available after work on weekdays, around 5pm, and open to weekends as well if available! Caring for pets brings an indescribable joy to me, so I am available any time around my work schedule.
