Pet care experience
Need a last minute dog walker or pet sitter while you travel or vacation this summer? Someone to give your pet a little extra TLC as you transition back to the office? I offer drop in visits for potty, play, or companionship, walks, as well as longer term sitting in your home. I have extensive experience with dogs (both large and small), cats, rodents, birds, and other small animals, both with my own pets and caring for others’ pets within our community. I currently walk and sit for several people in the area, and also run a small weekly play group for large dogs with another neighbor in Hummelstown by the pool. We are always looking for more playmates — I can pickup and transport. I can provide references and have my own car. Hershey/Hummelstown/Palmyra/Elizabethtown and surrounding areas. I do have some experience with pets with special needs (IV insulin and oral medication administration, special dietary requirements, sensory issues such as blindness and deafness, reactive dogs, etc.). I’m also happy to do some chores (light housecleaning, watering plants, collect your newspaper and mail, etc.) during an overnight stay. Reasonable prices. Jocelyn would be an amazing dog caregiver! As Jocelyn's roommate, I get to spend tons of time with Jocelyn the dogmom. She is a great dogmom--always snuggling and loving her pups. She loves her two dachshunds so much, she even has a tattoo of one of them on her arm! Jocelyn shares special moments with her dogs like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain! I would highly recommend Jocelyn to be a pet caregiver and trust her fully with any of my fur babies!

I can look after your pets in the comfort and familiarity of your own home, whether overnight or for a drop in visit. I’m happy to play with your pets in the yard or inside, take them for a walk in your own neighborhood, or take them to a local park to explore some nature trails or dip their feet in the creek on a hot day. Once a week, I meet with another lady in the community for a small playdate for large dogs — we are always looking for new playmates, if that’s something that interests you! I also have six small dogs of my own, if you’d like to coordinate a playdate with your dog and a smaller companion or two!

Please let me know if your pets have any special needs (medical, dietary, or sensory), or if they’re reactive to certain stimuli or situations (around other animals or small children, with food or toys, on a leash, in a new environment, etc.). I do have experience with pets with complex needs, and pets of all ages, including senior dogs and puppies.
A typical day
I love to explore some of my favorite local areas: Shank Park, Bullfrog Pond, Conewago Recreation Trail, or the Swatara Creek. There are plenty of neighborhoods to explore in Hummelstown and Hershey as well.

I have open availability and can be called on day and night for any and all of your pet’s needs. I have a reliable car and can play with, walk, and supervise them within the comfort of your home and your community. I can also transport your pets, if needed.
