Hi, we are Jocelyn and Jeremiah! Our yellow lab pup was our first baby, so we understand how important it is to have loving, affordable care for your pet when you are away from home. Jeremiah works from home, and I am a stay-at-home mom, which means that while your pup is here, he or she will have constant human love and affection! We have over 10 years of experience, and we have loved brand-new puppies, 15-year-old veterans, little chihuahuas to labs and doodles bigger than me! We also have a lot of experience administering many different kinds of medications, and caring for older pups. Our clients love the fact that their pup becomes part of our family during a stay, and that we do not accept several dogs at once. Our careful, attentive care is more important to us than the amount of dollars we can earn; after all, the reason you are choosing Rover is because you want your pup to feel at home, have plenty of attention and not be left alone all day! Your pup can play outside with us, join us on walks, or relax inside: whichever he or she prefers! Our goal is for it to feel just like home, including normal feeding times, walk schedules and sleeping routines. We have a completely fenced in, medium sized yard, and we check it regularly to make sure that your pet will not be able to escape and will remain safe from any intruders. We also keep plenty of tennis balls handy, because you never know when a rousing game of fetch may start! Our home is the perfect place for your pup: one story, homey and clean; all pups are welcome to lounge in front of the fireplace, curl up in the bedrooms overnight and follow us no matter where we are. Older pets don't need to worry about stairs. We also offer a complimentary meet-n-greet prior to booking, which gives you and your pup a chance to meet us, tour our home, and spend some time in the yard. This helps reduce any anxiety during your first drop off, because now it's a familiar area for them. Our own dog, Tiki, is a yellow lab, who loves to have company, as does our 7-year-old son. He adopts every guest pup as his own, and is always disappointed when it's time for them to leave. Our hope is that Heavenly Hounds will be a little slice of heaven for your pup while you are away.
