Loving and caring for our furry friends

Pet care experience

*NOTE: My availability is changing from the 30th May and I will only be available weekends and weekday evenings. If your cat or pup is okay to be at home by themselves during the day, I can also facilitate longer stays during the week.* Growing up, my house was always full of animals. When I was 5, my parents got two Keeshond-Silky Terriers (Shadow & Jackson), as well as an affectionate big black cat (Oliver). When I was older, and my pets left us, we adopted 2 chihuahuas, Poco & Mimi, as well as Leah, our tortoise shell cat. My memories of the first 20 years of my life are filled with the joy of loving, playing with and caring for my beautiful animals. When I moved to London in 2020, I've yearned to look after our furry-friends once again. I have been the trusted dog/cat sitter for several of our friends, playing with them, bathing them, walking them, feeding them and being attentive to any issues or illnesses. I've looked after our friend's double-doodle Ellie multiple times, including a one-month stay as they travelled. We've also looked after our friend's 6-month-old Fox Red Labrador Maple.

Jocelyn was lovely to work with and our dog seemed to really enjoy her weekend with her. They went on lots of walks and park visits and I got great updates on her activity and daily habits. Zero hesitation to rebook with her if schedules align!

Jocelyn looked after our anxious pup, Gunner, for a day and we’ll definitely be having her back. She’s attentive to details, a great communicator, and was a natural at making Gunner feel at ease. All around, a fabulous sitter. Thank you, Jocelyn!

Jocelyn’s care and communication is really second to none. She has been so communicative with us when Rufus has stayed with her and she has taken the time to build trust with him. Our dog is displaying behaviour in line with separation anxiety and because of that we are cautious about making sure he has a positive experience with anyone who looks after him; Jocelyn could not have made that easier and took real care to make the experience reinforcing in a good way for Rufus, as well as being so kind and flexible with us. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thanks Jocelyn! x

Safety, trust & environment

If staying at my home, I live in a one bedroom flat with loads of space (it's closer to the size of a 2 bed) so your fur-baby will always feel comfortable. I live with my partner Eddie, however I will be the sole caretaker of your pet. I live on a residential street close to many green spaces that are great for a toilet break, a walk or for a run around.

Home

Lives in an apartment
Does not have a yard

Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Jocelyn C. would like to know about your pet

It would be great to know your pets overall temperament. What activities do they really enjoy? How much play time and exercise do they like? What, if anything, causes them to become uncomfortable/triggers them? Do they have any other special requirements, medical needs or quirks that I should be aware of?

A typical day

I love to make sure that your furry friend has a great balance of play, fun and physical exercise, along with enough rest and recuperation. I love exploring the back streets and quiet residential areas near the house, taking them to green spaces like Hampstead Heath or Clissold Park, throwing the ball around the dog park or walking them along Regent's Canal. I like to ensure there's not too many people around so they feel comfortable and relaxed.
