Open communication is always my standard for caring for pets and their parents. I ask as many questions as I can to ensure a great stay and encourage the parents to do the same. Alongside pictures through the Rover App, I also include the option to do video chat/check-ups through either Google Hangouts, WhatsApp, and Discord where we can talk about our day together and allow the parents and pups to see/hear each other. The only thing we ask is that your pup not be aggressive towards other animals as we do own two cats and there are other animals in the building. Other than that, we welcome dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and special needs. If you’d like to schedule a quick meet and greet, I’d be happy to make that happen. All this screen time can feel pretty impersonal, so face-to-face meetings can really alleviate a lot of anxiety.

Lucky for us, our building is located right next to a small neighborhood park that is empty during the the mornings and afternoons for plenty of play time! Lots of play during the afternoon usually leads to long naps until the evening when the park is empty again. If we host a more energetic pup, there are plenty of safe low traffic neighborhood streets just one block over. Our studio has a separated kitchen and bathroom, so there’s definitely enough room for some horseplay and easygoing fetch! We allow pets on the furniture so your pup will get many pets and cuddles during nap time or overnight if they are boarded with us. We provide an extra large sleeping bag that we fold to make a super comfy dog bed. We do have two cats who can be put away for the day if necessary as well.
