Pet care experience
I am a bioengineer turned medical student who really enjoys being outside. I had three dogs growing up. An Australian Sheppard named cowboy; Batman the husky; and Margarita, a rescue that looked like a Maltese. Each dog I helped train, walked, fed and cleaned. I’ve been around dogs Emmy whole life. I can’t have dogs where I live so watching and caring for yours is a way for me to play with the animals I love. I like to run, so can run with the dog if they’re high energy, and I will give them love and care while they need. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and ask. We would highly recommend Job! Job watched our puppy, Olive, while we were back home for a long weekend. He took great care of her, took her on long walks, sent us daily updates and even took Olive to her favorite park to run around. Job was always responsive and really enjoyed spending time with Olive - thanks, Job!
Job and I are long time friends and roommates and he has helped me countless of times when I have dogboarded for Rover. Job is very active and often would volunteer to take dogs staying in our home out on walks, runs and to the park with me. No one looks at happy at a golden retriever chasing a ball then Job throwing one for a gleeful pup. Having lived with him I know he is incredibly responsible and a true dog lover and he’s going to take amazing care of any animal!

I am big on following rules and will care for your dog and your home the way you prefer. With my dogs, I keep them on a leash unless I’m a designated off leash area, and I knew they would not run away. I’ve also had experiences with introducing dogs to hostile dogs and am careful when around new people or pets to keep everyone safe.

A typical day
In my free time I love to hike and run and go to the beach. If your dog enjoys those things then I would love to take them out to get exercise and social stimulation. If you are training your dog, I really enjoy teaching a dog new tricks.

Availability
I am a student and most of my classes are remote, so I have plenty of time to watch your dog while studying, and I would take a lot of breaks to play and walk any dogs I care for.
