Hello! My name is João and I am pleased to virtually meet you and your furry friend/S! 😁 I have several years experience working with animals, caring for all sorts of different dogs, cats and other more exotic animals! My own dog and cats are back home in Portugal, but they love to Skype me (they are very chatty) so I get to see them often! Way back when in 2014 I began volunteering with Borrow my Doggy and haven’t looked back. I was able to walk and offer boarding for a number of different and lovely dogs, building lasting and valued relationships with dogs and owners! Since then, I have continued to volunteer but I have also taken on more professional employment with certain clients in both north and south London, again offering walking, caring and boarding, as well as popping in to feed or play for an hour or more. I have fantastic references and two of my clients are happy to offer references if needed. I have completed a certificate in animal care in kennels and shelters. I have also started volunteering with the Cinnamon Trust since the start of the pandemic to help elderly neighbours with pets at this strange and uncertain time. Finally, I am happy, energetic and kind and very very trustworthy. I would love to care for your pet and know how unnerving it can be to trust others with your little (or big!) loved ones!
