Hi, my name is Polo. I’m an 8 years old American Eskimo. Take it from me, my “step mom” is the best person to care for your dog or cat. She has had cats growing up and cared for her friends’ dogs for many years. She came into my life 4 years ago and she has been taking care of me ever since. We love to go on walks and hikes. If you’re up for it, we can be best pals and take walks around the lake near my house! She’s been especially gentle to me when I’m not feeling well. I’m sure she will do the same for you!

This was out second time having Joanne sit for Lulu. We love her and will continue to use her. She takes excellent care of our furbaby and lots of updates, she is truly the best!

Before choosing my sitter, I vetted and met with several to see who would be the best match for my anxious puppy, Lulu. When I first met Joanne, she was warm and friendly and she made Lulu feel at ease. Before I even met the others, my gut told me Joanne was the one and boy was I right! During our vacation, Joanne regularly sent me updates, multiple times a day including pictures, video clips, and details about how they spent their day (lots of exercising and snuggles). Having used Rover sitters in the past, I can say that Joanne goes way beyond what others have done to update me. When our Disney stay took an unplanned 2 day extension due to Hurricane Ian, Joanne assured me it was no problem and that Lulu was in good hands. Choosing Joanne was the best decision we made and I would recommend her 1000% to anyone looking for a sitter that is caring, compassionate, and that truly loves fur babies.
Joanne was wonderful with Harper! He's a nervous pup and she put him to ease right away. She was quick to get back to us and sent us texts and pictures throughout his stay. We will definitely be using her services again.

I have a fenced yard to run around and potty anytime. Your pet (cat or dog) will have the freedom to roam around the house. I have a friendly medium size dog for your pet to make friends with. Polo is friendly with small dogs and some medium - large dogs. He’s only unfriendly when he feels threaten. I will request a meet & greet prior to boarding to make sure they get along. I accept 1 pup at a time so I can pay full attention to him/her and avoid any conflict with other dogs. Ask me any question!

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog by playing outside the fenced yard and spoil them with treats, toys and cuddles! I like to take walks to the park and around the lake which is about 7 mins walk from the house.

Availability
I understand how hard it is to find someone who will care for your pup as I go through the same when I need to board mine. I work from home so I’ll be able to have plenty of play time, potty time and walks. I’m available any time of the day for day care or boarding. I have a fenced yard and your pet/fur baby/best friend can exercise any time during the day and I can adjust to your pet’s needs on numbers of walks and the length of walks. Your pup will never be alone, I will supervise and hangout with them even in the yard. For weekend boardings, if allowed or wish, we can go for longer walks/hikes.
