**UPDATE** I recently broke my foot, so I will not be able to watch dogs that need longer walks. If your dog is lower energy and okay with going out to the dog park within my apartment, I will be able to care for them. Thank you for your understanding. I hope to be back to walking normal by the first week of June. I have grown up with cats and love their snuggles. I have owned 2 dogs. They were a border collie/lab mix and a springer spaniel. I raised the springer from when he was a puppy. I absolutely love dogs and being active with them. I feel I have great love and patience for any animal that I get to meet.

First time boarding with JoAnne and it couldn't have gone better. Communication was easy and she's super responsive. She clearly loves dogs and seems like a great person - attentive, caring, friendly, professional. My young bernedoodle LOVED her. During this short 2-day visit JoAnne sent photos of their walks and down time at her place, really nice to receive especially during this first visit. I live in an apartment, so smaller pets would be more comfortable. I have watched dogs up to 40 lbs. I make sure to take them out a lot on long walks or to the nearby parks to get out that energy. They are sure to receive a lot of love when they are under my care!

I would like to know anything that you think is important. Feeding times, medications, potty breaks, are they good around other dogs and people? As I live in an apartment, I need to how they are when left alone in a new place. I understand that they may bark at first, however consistent barking is not tolerated with my apartment or neighbors.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks throughout NE Mpls. There are so many areas for the dogs to explore. I also enjoy going to dog parks if the dog will come when called and good with other dogs. On extremely cold or rainy days, I try to engage them with practicing their tricks and playing with toys.

Availability
I am a full-time dental hygienist, working Monday-Thursday. I would be available for night time walks after 4:00, walking and boarding Friday- Sunday. I would also be able to take pets during the week that can be at home for more than 8 hours.
