I'm Jo and I've been a dog lover all my Iife - I grew up in the countryside in Northern Ireland and used to go on adventures across the fields with my pooch. I see the same 'I'm freeeeeeeeeee!' grin on the faces of the dogs I walk now in London when we hit the park and run around the greenery like wild things. I work part-time at a doggy daycare in Bow and often board the pooches from there (I prefer to get to know doggies and for them to know me well before we board together). I live on Northwold Road, right by Stoke Newington Common, and I go there and Clissold Park with any dogs I walk or sit around N16 on the days I'm not at daycare. I find working with these creatures to be the perfect counterpart to my other work as a freelance writer and massage therapist. I feel we have a lot to learn from dogs who, on their walkies, demonstrate for us the very meaning of Mindfulness :-)
