SAFE home with fenced yard 👍

Pet care experience

I both grew up with dogs since birth ranging from Shih Tzu, Husky, Pomeranian, Boarder Collie, Doberman, Samoyed, Jindo, Australian Shepherd, and American Bully. I strongly believe that dogs are more than pets, they are family. Currently I have a 5 year old American Bully who is a big sleepy head that is well socialized. I will follow your requested schedule, needs, and wants. I am here to cater to you and your fur baby! Because my current dog has a short snout, deep chest, prone to hip dysplasia with prior skin allergies I take extra caution in those areas. I will treat your dog just like my own—like a Queen or a King 👑.

My Corgi had so much fun at Joannes! I’m so grateful to have found her. I had to go out of town last minute and she was very accommodating. I had no cell service but Joanne kept in touch through email with day to day updates on my dog. It was extremely comforting knowing my dog was safe during my week long trip and in good hands.

My puppy stayed with Joanne during my two week honeymoon. I felt anxious leaving my puppy but once I met Joanne I felt comfort. Because she knew how anxious I was she went the extra mile with pictures and videos. She also potty trained my dog during the two weeks! My puppy still needs a more practice but I am ever so grateful. My puppy also got to experience dog socializing through her dog which is great! It is safe to say I found our resident sitter! Thank you.

My dog had a great time with Joanne and her family. From the photos and when I picked up my dog I can tell my dog was well looked after. It’s hard to find trustworthy, reliable, honest people these days but I’m so glad I found Joanne. My dog will be staying with her whenever I am going out of town now.

Joanne was great with my boston terrier. He’s elderly and can’t walk much. She took him on walks in his stroller and carried him up and down the stairs. She followed his special food preparations. She also send me many photos and videos. My dog doesn’t have any dog siblings but from the videos I can tell my dog enjoyed her dogs company. I might just get a second dog now! Ha! I will definitely use her services again.

I have a fenced artificial grass area where dogs can run and sniff and a separate potty area. The air and heat will always be on during the heat and cold. Fresh water will always be available and potty breaks every 2 or more if needed. Your dog will have so much fun playing with my pup, playing fetch, going on walks, and many more! I have used Rover myself and I find that safety and communication are most important. I want you to be able to enjoy your trip without having to worry about your fur baby. I will send you pictures and videos to keep you updated. Your fur baby will get lots of scratches, pets, massages, and cuddles. Fur babies are also welcomed to sleep wherever they please. I only take on one dog per stay unless from the same household for safety reasons. Your dog must be house trained unless a puppy (under 6 months) and be well socialized around other dogs.

What are your dogs triggers? What commands does your dog know? Dietary allergies? Safety concerns (fence hopper, chases bicycles, counter surfer etc?) What are your dogs habits?

A typical day

A typical day to day will vary on the dogs—depends on the dogs/owners preference and personality. Generally, dogs will get two walks daily-one structured walk and one sniff walk. Dogs will get a potty break first thing in the morning followed by cuddles and thigh massages. Then breakfast will be served. Right afterwards we will go out into the fenced yard where I will drink my coffee while the dogs sniff, check the perimeters, go potty, and stretch. Then we will to inside where the dogs can play with toys, lounge, take more naps, watch tv. Before noon we will go on a 30 minute sniff walk where the pups. Then snack time! In between snack time and dinner each dog will play get ONE on ONE time with me to play fetch, tug of war, or just running the yard/house together, and potty breaks. After dinner, the pups will get another walk, cuddle time, and will get their final potty break before lights are out. Please keep in mind this is a general itinerary, the type and number of walks and outdoor time heavily depend on the weather and individual dog. Every dogs needs are different and I cater to each dog as an individual. After every meal and large amounts of water, the pups will take an hour rest to avoid bloating.
