I consider myself so fortunate to have had dogs as companions for most of my life. Each one was unique and all were loved; the majority were with me as puppies to seniors to hospice. Having had many different breeds required special attention to the nuances of their breed in addition to recognizing those distinctive traits that really defined their personalities. The bond between owner and dog is based on trust and love. As a pet care giver I would respect and defer to owner's suggestions because trust between the owner and myself is critical. I can say that if reincarnation is real I could come back as any one of my dogs and be happy. Know well that I would treat your dog the same as my own.
