Pet care experience

Holder of a dog boarding licence; Public Liability Insurance; DBS Police checked and currently studying the Advanced Diploma Level 4in Canine Behaviour (2020) Dog boarding offers a kinder alternative to kennels - a home from home environment for your dog to be given 1:3 attention as only 3 to dogs can be boarded at the same time . My home is within a residential area with a large enclosed garden adjacent to open fields. Your dogs routine - with regard to feeding, exercise and sleeping will be maintained. I have returning customers - who, rest assured , know their pet is being cared for in capable hands. I can offer a free, no-obligation meet and greet to be fully aware of what you as an owner expect and of course to get to know your dog and his/ her needs - forewarned means forearmed! We have a resident dog - our Cocker Spaniel called Vive - who is totally laid back and slots in with our visiting guests! However, it is important that your dog and mine are comfortable with each other and I always recommend a walk together on neutral territory and an overnight stay if boarding. Walks are fun and stimulating to release pent up energy and reduce boredom. If preferred, either during a solo or group walk ( no more than 4 dogs walked at one time). I will endure to match your dogs level of exercise and socialisation skills. Only off-lead walking is introduced until good recall established and a trusting relationship has been established. Walks are tracked to let you know the time elapsed; distance covered and photos uploaded with a daily update for total peace of mind .

I will definitely let Tiny board with Joanne again. Tiny was very nervous. She had never been left at someone else's home and she started to howl once she was left on her own in the evening. Joanne was brilliant and managed to settle her without too much bother. Tiny also appreciated the lovely long walks she was taken on.
