Pet care experience
I have owned pets all my life. For the last 14 years I have worked at a dog rescue and my home is also a foster home. I work with all types of dogs and cats, from healthy, happy, well-adjusted ones to the infirmed, blind, and needy. The animals sense that I am not a threat and that I treat them with kindness. I try to be aware of their needs and look for signs of unusual behavior or illness. I check pets for stickers in their fur or blood on their paws to ensure that they have not gotten themselves into trouble. Animals with special diets are not a problem; I will warm their food if necessary, fill water bowls, and check their bedding to ensure that it is clean. Playtime is always fun as that is when a pet shows his/her special personality. Your pet will get the attention it deserves.

I believe Joanne Demille will make an excellent addition to your team. She is a gentle and loving lady especially where animals are concerned . She has an animal rescue facility and each animal receives special attention. I have observed her holding, rocking and singing to each one. Joanne has been my neighbor for over 20 years and I have the greatest respect for her.
Joanne has been a volunteer for our canine rescue for 13 years. During that time she has provided outstanding care for the rescues that come to our door. Joanne has gone above and beyond generic care by treating each animal as though it were her own. She takes extra time to assess the needs of each animal to ensure that the animals are getting the best care possible whether it is diet, exercise, or extra attention. She is competent and caring, and of course, the animals love her.
To Whom It May Concern: Joanne has been an excellent dog sitter for me! My dog "Munchkin" had special needs and loved to follow you around from room to room as he had been a service dog in the past for someone who had passed away. While I was away for a week, he needed his medicine in his ears, to be fed, let out for bathroom breaks, and good company. When I came home from being away I found Munchkin to be very well taken care of and happy. When I met Joanne I found that she is one of those people who truly has a heart for animals, both large and small, feline and canine alike. When it comes to pet sitting, trust is of the utmost importance! It is such a great relief knowing that if you have to leave your pet for a while, the person whom you have entrusted with their care was well placed. I give her my highest recommendation as a pet sitter.
I give Joanne the HIGHEST recommendation. She is not only caring, responsible , reliable and professional, but took excellent care of my 15 year old dog who needed medications and had trouble walking. Joanne even let Amy, my dog sleep with her( because Amy always slept on my bed), so she wouldn't be lonely, and it was more comfortable for her arthritis. Joanne treated her with the same loving care as me, and even brushed her! I couldn't have asked for more.I will definitely use her again any time I travel!
