I have always had a dog in my life, as well as neighbor's dogs, who hung out with me, more than their own families. I've had 3 dogs, consecutively, the first 2 lived full, healthy lives, and my third baby is still with us, at 14, all large dogs. We recently rescued a stray kitten, with whom we are crazy about. I always had dogs, so never realized just how cool and fun cats can be. We are in love! I can't pass by a dog, or cat without patting it, or at least saying Hi! I know I would be a great petsitter, as animals have always held a special place in my heart. I have, in my past, taken in friends/ family's dogs for a week or more, and grew so attached, it was hard to give them back!
