I'll care for your pup like mine!
Pet care experience
I've owned dogs since I was a child and have gone through the training of new pups many times. Our dog, (a Samoyed) is one of the greatest joys of our life, so I know how important it is for you to have someone capable, responsible, loving and trustworthy to be there for your pet when you can't be. Our dog regularly goes to the dog park and is very socialized, he's a very friendly playful dog and will happily play with yours for hours. We enjoy lot's of games with our dog, such as fetch, frisbee, play wrestling, hide & seek, hide & seek with treats, chase, tummy rubs, trips to the beach, hikes on the nature trail near us, and snuggles on the couch.

Our cat loved Joanne! He's usually a little shy but he sat on her lap and purred while she was visiting him. Joanne was wonderful - she sent photos of our kitty to us and played with him. I knew our sweet baby was in good hands while we were out of town. Thank you Joanne!
As a regular ROVER client, I have high expectations when it comes to the care of my 13 year old Pekingese. Joanne “JO” exceeded these expectations! She was promptly responsive and professional. Jo conducted a thorough interview asking many thoughtful smart questions about my preference for Bella’s care provided multiple times per day in my home. Most importantly she provided regular communication while I was away sharing multiple photos and videos of Bella who was obviously Very Happy in Joanne’s good care. Joanne has kept my dog (15 lb bichon mix), with her large Samoyed, several times with absolutely no problem. My dog Hunter loves her and her kids and her dog. I’ve always felt he was safe and happy with her.

I would prefer only dogs that are fully vaccinated, neutered and in good health. I'm used to my energetic Samoyed, he is about 60lbs, so I can handle similar sized dogs. Please also make sure your pup has had a good tick and flea treatment.
A typical day
We live close to the beach (beach tag required for that), a State Park and a nice area to stroll or run around. We have a large yard, (fence being installed in a couple of weeks). We can go to a local dog park if your pup is used to that. We also have a large home with multiple balconies, our dog loves to relax on the their and watch the passers by.
