Avoid cage boarding! Let your dog stay with a house full of dog lovers. We have a fully fenced backyard, two super friendly dogs (an English pointer and a Great Dane mix), and a big home where your dog can relax and feel comfortable. Our home is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a semi-rural setting in south Carroll County. We have multiple years of watching other dogs, including puppies, senior dogs, small and large. If you have more than one dog, we can help! Scratches, treats, and snuggles included. We will even send you photo updates while you are gone! I grew up with pets and had many years caring for others' pets earlier in my life. When we first moved into this home, our first thought was we needed to have a dog! We found our first boy Jaz, a German Shorthaired Pointer mix, at a shelter. He had been abandoned off there twice. When we took him back to the shelter to be fixed, he shook terribly, thinking we were abandoning him. That is when I realized I would only board him in a home environment. And I also decided that I wanted to open up our home for other animals to have a similar vacation! We now have had over 7 more years of watching dogs when their owners are away at our home. Exceptions: If your dog can jump a 5 foot fence, another home might be better. Dogs should also get along with others. Also, my teenage daughter goes to bed earlier, so no excessive barkers.
