Pet care experience
My husband and I are huge pet lovers. He works from home 24/7 and we have a lot of space for dogs to run around or cats to hang out. Through fostering with a rescue organization, we have plenty of experience with medical cases and behavioural challenges.

Joanna and Markus J. are excellent dog boarders. They are personable and friendly, and our dog Skye was very happy to stay with them! We received regular information and photos while we were away. When we picked Skye up, he was excited to see us, yet reluctant to leave!
Markus was wonderful with our slightly anxious pup. She was given lots of trail walks and came home happy!
Markus is a very reliable guy and he committed all himself to the care of our cutie. He took him for long walks and updated us at all time. When we picked Pico up he was exhausted and he made clear that Markus had become his best friend jumping over him and kissing him before we left. Markus and Joanne have also a very nice property and trails around the house and Pico enjoyed them all. That was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much Markus and Joanne for taking such a good care of Pico. We all appreciated it

We have 2 friendly dogs. We have a huge yard and live on a very quiet, dead end street with no traffic and lots of places to explore. We live in a bungalow with only a few steps to get in and out of the house.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs such as medications, disabilities, dietary restrictions, etc. Having raised, rescued and fostered over a dozen dogs we have an in-depth understanding of all sorts of issues that can arise with dogs and are able to accommodate and care for them.
A typical day
Depending on your dog’s energy level there are all sorts of exciting places to take them. We have 2 acres of open property to play fetch and have fun. We live walking distance from all sorts of trails to explore and also have a huge off-leash park just a 5 min drive from our home. We also have a pool your dog can use if they like swimming - our dogs do a few supervised laps around the pool a few times a week as low-impact exercise. (Note: the pool is above ground, so dogs could only get in with assistance)
