I’m a true animal lover and a rare dog & cat person! I’ve taken care of cats since I was 10. I was the primary carer for our family cats and got my own cats as soon as I moved out of the family home. I’ve cared for cats with severe allergies, cancer, through major surgery and also adopted stray cats who needed lots of love and became perfect pets. I’ve also cared for our family dog and am a regular dog sitter for both family and friends, with experience in big dogs, small dogs and all in between. I’m a true believer in dogs needing play and nothing makes me happier than running around with a dog. I’ve also cared for elderly dogs when family have gone away. As one of my family friends said recently “I’ve never met anyone so loving to animals” I’m currently in the process of launching my own business from home so am fully flexible in working hours. I can pop in for visits, walks or whole days. I can also stay overnight if needed. I believe pets should always feel comfortable with who they are with. This involves giving them any space needed until they are fully comfortable. It’s so important to know their individual comforts and loves so it’s important to fully be briefed by their owner. I’m unable to bring any dogs into my home if they are a risk with cats, it is unfair to my cats even though they are fine with dogs, I won’t have dogs that will cause them undue stress.
