Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of many different animals over my life, from my childhood dog and hamsters, to fish and as an adult cats. I am often called on by friends to dog or cat sit and enjoy creating challenging treat hunts as part of their daily activities. I’ve got experience with puppies and adult dogs and really enjoy taking them for long walks, especially when the weather allows for this (it’s not too hot yet!).

Joanna was brilliant as she always is!! She's a star
Our Chinno can be hard work sometimes, especially when meeting new people but Joana was incredibly understanding and helpful! She was super patient with Chinno and made sure to make him feel comfortable. She also took him for a walk straight away to help him calm down while we leave for work. During the day she sends us pictures and videos of them playing as well. She’s amazing with our Chinno, 110% recommend!
Joanna is friendly, efficient and a super caring sitter. She got along famously with our pup and even took him for an extra walk. Would have no hesitation about booking her again.
Our 3 year old Golden Retriever absolutely loves Jo. We've left Luna with her for extended trips on many occasions and always come home to a happy, excitable pup! (With plenty of updates and photos while we're on holiday, too). Jo has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion including taking care of Luna when we went on our honeymoon. Can't recommend enough! She's also looked after our little bunny Bear as well, making sure she's always topped up with food and water, clean and tidy.

A typical day
Dogs -A typical day would include a long walk including lots of opportunities for your dog to take in all of the smells. Puzzles, with treats hidden encouraging mental stimulation. If your currently training your pet, short 10 minute training sessions peppered throughout the day so not to stress them or overwork. And lots of little play and cuddle sessions. Cats - depending on the cat, lots of pets and cuddles alongside plenty of naps of course! Treat puzzles for mental stimulation and lots of play sessions, encouraging them to be the natural hunters they are.

Availability
I work from home with flexible hours and make sure I go for a long walk everyday around lunch time. When the weather gets better I like to work from the garden. I love to use brain breaks as regularly opportunities for play time with any dogs I’m looking after.
